A longtime friend of MadJag kept the seeds safely stored in a vault for decades. Only after cannabis legalization in Arizona did she decide in 2022 to plant five of these ancient seeds. Remarkably, all five germinated — an impressive feat for seeds over 40 years old.

In 2024, MadJag managed to cultivate six more plants from the remaining seeds. This genetics line offers a unique opportunity to preserve authentic Mexican Sativa profiles and serves as a foundation for exciting new breeding projects.
