Hy-Pro’s Amnesia, also known as “Amnesia Core Cut,” is a multi-award-winning strain with an impressive history and a powerful effect. Although the name “Amnesia” is often associated with the “Amnesia Haze” strain, this particular variant has nothing to do with the well-known Haze. Instead, it comes from a special phenotype selection of Super Silver Haze (SSH) by Greenhouse Seeds.

The strain was created when Hy-Pro’s breeders discovered a seed in his SSH harvest, cultivated it and quickly realized that he had found an exceptional phenotype. The plant was named “Amnesia” due to its intense, almost narcotic effect. Its unmistakable aroma is reminiscent of sweet notes of chewing gum and candy, combined with hints of flowers and fruit. Over the years, Amnesia has won numerous prizes in prestigious cannabis competitions and has become popular in coffee shops in the south of the Netherlands, including Twins Coffeeshop and Bio Ibo.
