Aroma and flavour

The terpene profile is complex and layered: the classic Haze signature of sharp, spicy notes and incense meets the intense lemon and vanilla bouquet of the Panama line, accompanied by a fruity, tropical counterpart from Sweet Skunk with pink grapefruit and sweet skunk. The main terpenes are limonene, terpinolene, myrcene and caryophyllene; together they create an intense, aromatic bouquet with citrusy, spicy depth and a subtle earthy, fruity finish.

Genetics & origin

Neville’s Haze was named after Nevil Schoenmakers, founder of the Seed Bank of Holland, and developed by Green House Seeds from almost pure Haze genetics. It came from a cross of NL5/Haze A with Haze C and became the genetic foundation of many world-class strains such as Super Silver Haze and Amnesia Haze. The original Haze itself goes back to landrace crosses from Mexico, Thailand, India and Colombia that were developed in Santa Cruz, California, in the 1970s.

Panama (ACE Seeds) unites three exceptional Panamanian sativa landraces: Panama ’74, Green Panama and Colombian Punto Rojo. The hybrid, semi-stabilised over F8–F12 generations, is considered one of the best pure American sativa hybrids of recent decades. Its aroma profile of lemon, incense and vanilla and its characteristic reddish-pink pistils link directly to the legendary Panama Red and Punto Rojo sativas of the 1970s.

Sweet Skunk has been grown on Vancouver Island in British Columbia for decades. The original strain was developed by Federation Seeds from Sweet Pink Grapefruit and Big Skunk #1 and later carried on by Next Generation Seed Company. With an 80% sativa share, it brings a tropical aroma profile and strong growth vigour to the cross.
