THE MYTHICAL A5 HAZE MEETS OUR MALAWI KILLER TO CREATE OUR STRONGEST, MOST PSYCHEDELIC AND NARCOTIC HYBRID

Here at ACE Seeds, we have once again managed to create a monstrous new Sativa hybrid with Killer A5 Haze, which has the potential to produce the most potent plants with the highest THC content in our catalog.

A5 Haze is one of the rarest mothers (and probably the strongest) from the family of Dutch elite clones of Haze hybrids that Neville Schoenmakers developed in the late 80s and that have been preserved to this day. This Northern Lights #5/Haze A mother is characterized by its extremely psychedelic and devastating potency, high production, and its incense-like, organic, and meaty aromas of real Dutch “Old School” Haze, with a stronger influence of the old Colombian Sativas.

The rarity of this A5 Haze mother lies in the fact that Neville lost the Haze A male very early on, which resulted in no commercial seeds being produced with this Haze A male.

With Killer A5 Haze, our main goal was to create a Sativa-dominant hybrid that preserves (and even surpasses) the extreme potency, high growth, and high yields of the A5 mother, and we achieved this by crossing it with the Killer phenotypes of our strong Malawi, with which we have further increased the THC content to reach up to 30% (the upper limit of what cannabis plants can produce). At the same time, we have significantly increased resin production and trichome size, and reduced the long flowering time of A5 Haze to something more moderate (not only indoors, but also through a faster response to flowering outdoors), without introducing Indica genetics. Despite its large Sativa growth and very high production, Killer A5 Haze grows to a manageable size, making it our Sativa-dominant hybrid with the highest production per m².

In Killer A5 Haze, we find 4 phenotypes:

• Haze-dominant pheno: This phenotype shows the greatest Colombian Sativa influence from the Haze A male and produces huge and beautiful colas with an excellent flower-to-leaf ratio, maturing with elegant and delicate rebloomings. Woody and incense-like aromas of pure Haze. The resin production of this phenotype is good, but not as extreme as in the following 3 phenotypes. Flowering time: 75-90 days.
• NL/Haze pheno: This phenotype shows a stronger Indica influence from Northern Lights and therefore has a smaller size, faster flowering time, and a lower flower-to-leaf ratio. It is also the most faithful in terms of the characteristics of the original A5 Haze mother, with rounded and very resinous flowers with a silvery appearance, producing characteristic horn-like rebloomings at the end of the flowering period. Incense-like, meaty (liver), and organic (decaying petals) aromas. Flowering time: 66-80 days.
• Haze/Malawi pheno: Sativa-dominant and well-balanced phenotype showing traits from both Haze A and Malawi parents. It produces huge, very dense colas with an excellent flower-to-leaf ratio and the shiny resin coverage of our Malawi. There are slight rebloomings in the final stages, but not as pronounced as in the first 2 phenotypes. Incense-like and woody Haze aromas with the oily-resinous background of Malawi. Flowering time: 75-85 days.
• Silvery Malawi pheno: Monstrous Sativa phenotype with stronger Malawi influence. Extremely high flower-to-leaf ratio, very high production, with the classic huge trichomes and ovaries of our Malawi and exceptional resin production, giving it an aggressive silvery appearance when mature, taking the characteristics of Malawi Killer phenotypes to very extreme levels rarely achieved. Flowering time: 75-85 days.

Killer A5 Haze is one of the first joint projects between ACE Seeds and Yo Sammy, a member of the small group of breeders in South Holland who have preserved the elite clones of Neville’s Haze hybrids for almost 3 decades. These Dutch elite “Old School” Haze clones were the fundamental parent plants in the Netherlands of the 90s, used to develop the best Haze hybrids in history. Unfortunately, the best Sativa qualities of these legendary Haze hybrids and their unique incense terpene profile, which made them known worldwide as the best Sativa hybrids, have been diluted and brutalized over the past two decades by constantly mixing them with Indica or Skunk genetics to shorten the flowering time.

With these new projects, our goal will be to raise the standard of Sativa-Haze breeding by crossing these old Dutch elite Haze clones with the elite parents of our most worked-on Sativa varieties and also experimenting organolepticly by exploring different incense profiles through hybrids of elite parents in this regard.

Terpene profile: Contains mainly the following monoterpenes: high amounts of beta-myrcene and smaller amounts of limonene. Sesquiterpenes: only beta-caryophyllene.

Genetics: A5 Haze from Neville (Northern Lights #5/HazeA) x Malawi Killer.

Structure: Excellent vitality. Branched Sativa structure with medium internode spacing, of a limited and manageable size and stretch.

Bouquet: Dutch old-school incense aroma, meaty (liver), with a strong organic/rotten background, with final notes of decaying petals, resin, and dried wood.

Effect: Extraordinarily strong, complex, profound, and long-lasting. Psychedelic onset that completely alters visual, auditory, and tactile perception, catapulting the mind into new dimensions where there seems to be no tangible reality. As the effect progresses, an uncontrollable hilarity emerges, which later becomes more introspective and physical, causing a strong dissociation of mind and body as well as a strong final narcosis similar to opiates. Recommended only for the bravest and most experienced psychonauts. It can cause panic and/or complete physical exhaustion in users with low tolerance or no experience with strong Sativas of this class. Nothing will ever be the same after experiencing Killer A5 Haze.

Growing tips:
Indoors, outstanding results in terms of quality and production can be achieved with proper and abundant nutrient supply and strong light intensity.

Very suitable for SOG growing systems due to its high yield on the main cola, or for SCROG, horizontal or net growing due to its excellent yield on the side branches and its strong response to pruning.

Outdoors, it can be grown up to a latitude of 43°, although it performs best in climate zones with hot summers and warm, dry autumn weather, due to the density and size its flowers can reach. We recommend high nutrient amounts for the entire cycle.
