The Parents

Freezeland originates from Canada and combines two proven SSSC genetics: the Dutch Friesland Indica (M33) and Pluton. Freezeland has made a name for itself in Quebec – the buds often show lavender-colored tips and deliver a fruity citrus aroma with pine notes.

Important: Freezeland is not the same as pure Friesland M33. Friesland M33 is a Dutch outdoor selection from the Super Sativa Seed Club, bred for the harsh climate of the North Sea coast. Freezeland, however, is already a cross between this Friesland and Pluton.

Pluton (SSSC): Also an SSSC genetic (M45), specifically selected for short summers and northern growing regions. Bushy growth, cold tolerant, mold resistant.

Mighty Mite: A classic from British Columbia with Himalayan roots, cultivated there since the early 80s and selected for early maturity. Compact growth, pronounced main cola, distinct pine scent. The ruderalis component provides semi-autoflowering characteristics.

Don’t confuse

This strain is NOT “Mighty Freeze” or “Mighty Amstel Freezeland” (MAF). With MAF, Mighty Mite is the mother and Freezeland the father. Here it’s reversed – Freezeland as mother, Mighty Mite as father. Same parents, different cross.

What this cross brings

Both parents have been selected for difficult outdoor conditions over decades. The combination brings together cold tolerance, mold resistance and early flowering – made for growers in northern regions who want to harvest before the bad autumn weather arrives.
